Lois was a cheerful soul that I thoroughly enjoyed coming in our store, the Independence Fareway Store. She was like a ray of sunshine that  brightened my day. I will certainly miss her!

Our dear, dear Aunt Lois was an amazing lady.  Classy, smart and compassionate.  We boys were always welcomed into the Crawford home when we we young, poor and needy children.  Our mother always felt so comfortable at Auntie's home. Her family always welcomed us with open arms when there was no one else.  Auntie always remembered when our birthdays were.  Twenty years went by, and when I saw her again, she said, "Now, your birthday is the 22nd of September, right?".  And she also remembered the birth dates of my brothers.  And she was brilliant.  Her sense of history of the locale and her instant recall were amazing.  I'm just sorry that we are all on the west coast and couldn't see the family over the decades.  But we never forgot her and the boys.  And Steve and his wife were there with us in Oregon when our mom passed about 17 years ago.  We will be forever grateful that we had such a wonderful and caring and compassionate Aunt.  She made us feel included every time we were with her. We grieve today her regretful passing.  We love you, Auntie.  And always will.  Dave, Dan and Sam Annett

Aunt Lois will be greatly missed. Her bright shining eyes full of love and that million megawatt smile of hers! Her brain was sharp right to the very end.  The last time I saw her she told me my birthdate and the days my brother and sister were born. And she was right!  She has earned her reward. I'm sure there is a grand family celebration going on in heaven!

I am very fortunate to have had her as my Aunt.  Her smile and cheerful outlook will be missed. I will always remember her morning greetings when I was staying with her boys: "Rise and Shine" is forever etched in my memory bank.  She had so many cute little sayings like "charge it to the rain and let the dust settle it" when confronted with a seemingly unsolvable problem. Her sunshine smile, positive demeanor and down home wisdom will forever be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with this family.

Louis was a very sweet lady. I'm so glad I got the opportunity to meet her. Even though our families have been conducted a short time it always warms my heart to see her.  She always had great stories about my and my husband's  families  that she knew  as a youth .She was always a joy to be around.  I will greatly miss she at all future family events. Thank you Lois for wonderful smile and friendship.
