    Dear Rhonda and Marilyn,

Your father holds a special place in my heart and in my memories.  When my father farmed with Tom, your father was quiet, kind-hearted and patient.  My sister and I enjoyed playing for hours in the haymow.  However, I would often become too scared to climb backwards down the ladder.  I would call from the haymow window, "T-O-M...come help me" and your dad would always come and rescue me.

It is good to know that he had a long life for you to share.
