Dear Scott, Rae, Kodiak, Pat, Karla, and other family members,

Alice and I attended West High School together and graduated in the class of 1969.  We were friends but not close. I reconnected with Alice a few years ago and we became good friends. She has brightened my life with her friendship, love, smile, and laughter. Alice was so happy when she and Kodiak became a couple. He made her laugh and showed her unconditional love. Alice loved her adult children Rae and Scott, her sisters Karla and Pat, and her big extended family. Alice showed so much courage and strength during her battle with cancer. She is one of my heroes. I know this is a very difficult time for her family and friends. Cry because tears can be cleansing. Share stories, memories, photos and laugh because laughter can he healing. Surround yourselves with the love of family and friends. I know in my heart that Alice is no longer suffering. She is healed and watching over all of us. You are all in my heart, thoughts, and prayers.
