Bud worked as a forklift operator at Waterloo Industries.  He had formerly been employed at Jerald Sulky Co. for five years.  He was a past member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and enjoyed the outdoors including hunting, fishing and trapping.  He also liked to watch a good stock car race.  Bud was a Veteran of the US Army and recently was a part of a Cedar Valley Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., an experience that was one of the highlights of his life, thanks to the efforts of Richard “Dick” Anderson.

My memories of my uncle Bud have always included either his love of hunting or fishing. This phase in his life put a hindrance of what he loved to do. The pain of cancer not only takes its toll on the individual, but on the family as well. I am sending my love to my Aunt Vicky and cousins. Love you and thinking about you always!

I didn't know Bud well, but I knew his children (& Vicky) through my ex's family. Bill always talked kindly to me. I am sorry to hear about his passing. Prayers for Vicky, Brenda, Brandi, Bridget and Bud Jr. (along with the whole family), friends and all who loved him. He will be missed.
