Clinton E. Jones, 84, of Waterloo died Monday, Dec 17, at Allen Memorial Hospital.

He was born November 18, 1928 in Goodman, MS, the son of Willie Jones and Mary Gary Ford. He was raised by his grandparents Thornton and Ida Gary. He married Kuzie (QZ) Mosely, Dec 27, 1948 in Goodman, MS. They were later divorced.

He then married Irene McDowell on January 9, 1956.

Clinton was employed with John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for 30 years as a shag driver retiring in 1981. He also owned and operated Jones and Son Trucking Co. He was also employed by Cedar Valley Corp, Petersen Construction, Bud Wilkinson's Trucking, and EBBI Construction of Texas.

He is survived by his wife, 7 sons, Blair (Marsha) Jones of Waterloo, Kim Jones of Ft Collins, CO, Rollie Jones of Waterloo, Ricky (Lisa) Jones of Loveland, CO, Leighton Nash of Indiana, Rick McDowell of Saginaw, MI, Earl McDowell of Las Vegas, NV; 4 daughters, Patricia (Lee Dennis) Reed, Andrea ‘Kay Kay' McDowell both of Waterloo, Deborah (Duane) Carter of Atlanta, GA, Erica Hoosman of Texas; 9 brothers, Leslie Ford, Jr. and Henry Ford both of Minneapolis, Oscar Jones, Jimmy Jones and Willie Jones all of Kansas City, MO; 5 sisters, Ida Davis, Dorothy Horace, Mallie Moore all of Minneapolis, MN, and Lady Ford Campbell of Milwaukee, WI, and Brenda Jones of Kansas City, MO.

Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 1 son, Gary McDowell, 1 brother, Joe Jones and 1 sisters, Dorothy Jones.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, Dec 22, at Antioch Baptist Church with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball from 4 - 6 P.M. Friday and an hour before services at the church.
