Having grown up within a block of one another, it felt like Don was part of my family and I was part of his.  He was the best friend anyone could ever have or want.  Geography separated us for many years, but it still feels like I lost a brother.  Don would want us all to smile no matter how difficult the situation, but it's going to take a little longer to do that.  My thoughts and prayers are with Don's family he loved so very much.  Be strong, lean on each other, and God bless you all.

Sorry for your loss.  Don and I became friends in high school.  We later joined the Army together in 1966.  We were able to spend quite a bit of time together overseas.  Always smiling and ready for a good laugh, that was Don.  I have many stories and many great times, thanks to Don.  We will all miss him.

He was one of our favorite patients at Pipho Family Dentistry.  He always backed his truck in for a fast getaway.  He always called me "sweetheart" , I think it was to butter me up so I would take it easy on him when I cleaned his teeth.  I will miss that smile and his funny sense of humor.  Love you Donnie.
