    We were very sorry to hear about Mr. Nordman’s passing.  We have many menories of his following Rod in Denver baseball. Our final memory was when we visited his apple orchard. Condolences to the family.

    Friends with Eric through junior high and high school. Golfed with him a few times after school. Good guy. Some how we always called him Nortbrock and it seemed to stick with our group. Will miss you.

    I extend my sincere sympathy to Eric's family. I worked with Eric at John Deere for several years and his skills at the boring mill were valuable in keeping experimental parts on schedule for various builds. In addition, I miss the queen's apples that were sold during Sturgis Falls and I am thankful that I was able to meet some of the family members during those times. He will be greatly missed.

    Eric, the middle cousin;

    My mother Thelma and Eric's mom Mauree were sisters.  We would stay at their home when visiting from Clinton, Ia. or later from Alberta, Canada.  With a hand me down set of golf clubs, Eric would be off to the golf course on his bicycle so I played more with Fred and Tony.

    With Jan and family there was such a sense of order and calm in their lives.  Similarly with the well planned variety of apple trees in their "retirement" orchard which brought more responsibilities of husbandry, marketing, and success.

    Hospitality was both a privilege and an honour to be a guest therein.  Thanks for your model of Christian living.

    Great Great memories of spending so much time at the Nordman house growing up. Eric was one of the dad baseball coaches that had a big impact on a lot of Rod's friends, myself included. Eric and Janice always made me feel welcome in their home as a friend of Rod. Eric worked with my dad at John Deere so the families were close. Eric always had a way to make me and my dad laugh with a story or just the way he told the story. He was good man and will be missed. My families thoughts are with entire family now as you say goodbye and celebrate him going to his forever home in Heaven.

    John 11:25-26

    Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
