Kalli Raelle Corwin, 23, of Waterloo, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly from cardiac arrest on Saturday, September 26, 2020. She was born on December 28, 1996, the daughter of Michelle Corwin Wolfe.

Kalli attended Immanuel Lutheran, Valley Lutheran, and graduated from East High School in 2015. She continued her studies through Hawkeye Community College pursuing a degree in speech pathology. Kalli was most recently employed by Grin and Grow Childcare, previously working for Kwik Star.

A compassionate person who loved to be silly, Kalli will be remembered by her beautiful infectious smile, giggle, warm hugs and caring personality. Since her death, her boyfriend, Hunter Arens and many friends have mentioned how much they loved Kalli, how special she was and how fortunate they were to have known her. She was a good listener, was fiercely loyal to her friends and family, and would do anything she could to help someone in need.

Kalli not only was loved by her family but she knew that she was loved. Her grandfather would always tell her, “Only Jesus could love you more.” Kalli’s life on this earth may have ended way too soon but the individual memories of her family and friends will always be treasured. Her family cannot wait to be reunited again with her someday.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Michelle & Greg Wolfe and his family;
grandparents, Chuck & Brenda Corwin; uncle and aunt, Chris & Bonnie Corwin and their
daughter, Abigail; great uncle and aunt, Larry & Barb Lamfers; great-grandmother, Fannie Corwin; and several cousins.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

    It does not surprise me that God chose her to be an angel amongst us.  She had a special heart.

    I only met Kalli a few times throughout her life but I know how loved she was by her family. I remember her most recently when we'd go Christmas caroling. We'd usually stand by each other and ended up laughing about something. I was so sorry to hear of her untimely death but am sure she's in a far better life now with Jesus . My condolences to her entire family and friends.
