I feel like I grew up with Marion and George Spence and the family.  Every Sunday such a wonderful presence at Sacred Heart Church.  She was my mother's best friend.  As my mom got older she once told me that seeing Marion and being together at their church circle, St Anne's, meant alot to her.  I loved Marion Spence, I looked up to her, what a great personality. She made me smile. She was a very colorful angel.  My condolences to the family.

We lived in La Porte City years ago and I so enjoyed having Marion as a friend.  We played a lot of bridge together and it was always a fun time.  So sorry for your loss.

Becky and family you are in my thoughts and prayers.  Your Mom had a full life of which I am sure you are grateful for and have appreciated the times with her.

Blessings and Peace to the family.

Sad to hear the news.  Always enjoyed visiting with Marion, and she was willing to share so much interesting info, especially at auctions.  Our prayers and sympathy to all of her family members.  Rest in Peace, Marion.
