Marlys was such an inspiration to me growing up. And she and Paul always supported events along our life’s journey. She added such joy to the world. We send our hugs and prayers to her family and ask that God help Paul and all during this time of sorrow. Deepest sympathy from both Sam and myself

My heart aches for all of the McDonald families. Marlys was such a shining star amidst any gathering. I used to see her with her card friends, over at Village Inn and any time that I went to the Moose Club and got to see Paul, I would ask about her. When I was going with Denny Coffin and we would be at a celebration where she was, she'd always welcome me, the same as any Coffin family member did. My deepest sympathy for the loss of such a very sweet lady.

I am sorry to hear of Marlys' passing... She was such an exuberant and positive person and a force of nature....  She always seemed to be loving life no matter where she was or what she was doing..... I can still see her out on the playground at Washburn Elementary....

To her family, I am sorry for your loss,, but, your mom left you with a lot of great memories that will bring you a lot of love and smiles in the days ahead.

Marlys and Paul George have been attending the Henderson Reunions for as long as I can remember. We are all going to miss Marlys at the reunions as she was always interested in the family news and important milestones in everone’s life. It is a blessing that we marked Marlys’ 80th birthday and their 60th wedding anniversary. May Marlys rest in peace as there is a special place for her in heaven. She was really special!♥️

Marlys along with Paul, were the kind of couple that were there for you if they heard that there was a need.   When they heard i was working as a teacher in a headstart classroom they asked if there was any way they could help.  This soon expanded to asking her church family for items for crafts and science activities.    If you wiuld walk by my classroon you would see this sweet couple spending time in the “classroom store” center with the students!!! Exposing them toreal life money management skills! Any way that is just one tiny example of her giving personality that i will neverforget.
Marlys and Paul have been a part of my family through the years. Its been wonderful spending time during special holidays and summer celebrations!
