As President and Executive Director of New Hope in Christ Ministries, it is with saddened heart but veiled joy that we bid "adieu," "until we meet again," to our sister and daughter in the Faith, Patricia Brown.  Over a few years, I had the gracious privilege of talking with Mrs. Brown about matters of faith, and, I found our conversations most refreshing.  Pat was a kind soul, with a heart and mind to match, and, she never tired talking about her family.  She was very proud of all of them, especially Beverly, her daughter, who had overcome life's adversities with dignity.  I lost touch with Mrs. Brown as the years progressed, however, I never forgot her smile and openness with all she met, treating them as if they were her own family.  In that way, Mrs. Brown exemplified her Savior, who opened his arms wide to embrace the world, and, loved even those who were unlovely.  Of Mrs. Brown I can truly say this: that in her eyes you saw the arms of Jesus, and, in her heart you saw the Face of God!  Rest easy, Mrs. Brown, as now you have the inheritance of all the saints, who, at a time known only to God, will arise from their earthly tombs, and, be reunited body and soul to a better life, to a Heavenly life promised so long, long ago.....
