My prayers go out to Ricks family and friends. My husband was a friend of his from East  and they even had a "Memorable trip" to Florida(Ricks words)- I lost my husband Rick in December a nd he sent the nicest card saying how my Rick was just a damn good guy and that his heart went out to me-so now my heart goes out to you all. I think he was also a "Damn good guy"

We were bowling friends of Ricks. Spent a few summers in his pool enjoying a few beers and some music.  This is really a heartbreaker.  Sincere sympathies to the family.

Rick was such a kind, gentle, fun loving man. We remained friends after high school and loved getting together and reminiscing about high school, Hy Vee, softball, Locker Room days, and much more. He was always there for his friends whenever they asked and could always make me smile. Loved when he sang his Elvis songs and was darn good at it. I feel very honored and privileged to have had him as a close friend, and been able to get together with him just 4 weeks ago. He is home now and like others have said, with the love of his life and his family. Love and miss you buddy.
