Our sincere condolences to the family. We only met Bob for the first time in 1991, after he wrote a letter to the archive service at our town hall, asking if there were still any living relatives of his father, who was born in his parents' house in 1902 on the Kruisken district, Adegem municipality. Bob's grandfather Charles, founded here a café with a small grocery store in 1900, where he died in 1911, and his widow Melanie, moved in 1912 with her children to the U.S., where some of her brothers already lived. It was a moving moment when Bob first came into his father's birth house, which after almost a hundred years, was still standing there as a café. Every time Bob came to Belgium, we once went with him to the place where his father and grandfather had lived. We will never forget Bob, during our two visits to him, we met his family, and when he came to Belgium, he also got to know a lot of our family and friends here. The many pictures and videos that we have taken of him, and with him, we will often look back with nostalgia on them These beautiful memories, we will carry in our hearts for the rest of our lives. May Bob rest in peace with his beloved wife Della, and we wish his family and friends, a lot of strength to cope with the loss of that good man. It`s hard to find the right words to comfort his family and friends, who will now have to miss him, just as we miss him.             From Adegem Belgium, our deepest sympathy, Aimé and Godelieve
