    Antioch Baptist Church

CONDOLENCE   To: The Family of Sister Rosie Lee Bruce, Our hearts are with you in love and sympathy. May happy memories bring a measure of comfort. The loss of someone close is difficult to bear, but the sorrow you feel today, is a sorrow we all share. Even at a time like this, there is little friends can do, but it might help a bit to know that God will comfort you. We the Antioch Baptist Church extend our deepest, heartfelt sympathy to the family of Rosie Lee Bruce, with the Word of God we comfort you: “The  Spirit of  the Lord  GOD is  upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim  the  acceptable year of  the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He might be glorified.”                                                                                            Isa. 61:1-3 (KJV) With these words in this, your hour of sorrow, our heartfelt prayer for you is that God will grant comfort and consolation too. We pledge ourselves to your service and look to God for that great getting up morning when those who believe in Christ will be united in the Celestial City.                            Rev. Gary S. Cook Associate Minister   June 29, 2019
